Symptom<\/h3>\n

You can’t view an Office document from the document page.<\/p>\n

Resolution<\/h3>\n

Verify that Open Bee\u2122 Scan OCS is installed<\/h4>\n

Verify that Open Bee Scan OCS is installed and that Open Bee Portal is properly configured <\/a>to work with Open Bee\u2122\u2122\u2122 Scan OCS.<\/p>\n

Verify that the “Open Bee\u2122 Scan OCS” service is working<\/h4>\n
<\/div>\n
In a browser, type “http:\/\/IP:8080<\/strong>” (with IP the IP address to access Open Bee\u2122 Scan OCS)<\/div>\n
An authentication request should be displayed. If this is not the case, open the Windows Service Manager, and restart the service.<\/div>\n
If the service does not restart, delete the RUNNING_PID file located in the “bin” folder of the Open Bee\u2122 Scan OCS installation directory and restart the service.<\/div>\n

When MS Office is installed on the same server as Open Bee\u2122 Scan OCS<\/h4>\n

If MS Office is installed on the same server as Open Bee\u2122 Scan OCS:<\/p>\n

  • Open Windows Service Manager,<\/li>\n
  • edit the properties of the “Open Bee\u2122 Scan OCS” service,<\/li>\n
  • in the “Login” tab, change the user of the service and enter a Windows administrator account,<\/li>\n
  • Restart the service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
