{"id":21003,"date":"2022-05-17T09:58:26","date_gmt":"2022-05-17T07:58:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/help.openbee.com\/open-bee-scan-capture\/administrators-guide\/documents-in-error\/"},"modified":"2026-05-13T09:35:52","modified_gmt":"2026-05-13T07:35:52","slug":"documents-in-error","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/help.openbee.com\/en\/open-bee-scan-capture\/administrators-guide\/documents-in-error\/","title":{"rendered":"Documents in error"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In Open Bee\u2122 Scan Capture there is a page dedicated to the management of files in error, it groups together documents that could not be absorbed and processed by Open Bee\u2122 Scan Capture.<\/p>\n\n<p>To access this page, go to &#8220;<em>About<\/em>&#8220;, &#8220;<em>Maintenance<\/em>&#8221; and then to the &#8220;<em>Documents in error<\/em>&#8221; tab.<\/p>\n\n<p>In this interface, you will find the various documents with errors that cannot be processed normally by Open Bee\u2122 Scan Capture.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/confluence.myopenbee.com\/download\/attachments\/178913321\/file_in_error_ecran.jpg?version=1&amp;modificationDate=1533276238000&amp;api=v2\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Documentsenerreur-Descriptiondescolonnes\">Description of Columns<\/h1>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Identifier: This is the unique identifier of Open Bee\u2122 Scan Capture. The checkbox can be in case the file does not exist in the database.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Date: The date the document tried to be absorbed by Open Bee\u2122 Scan Capture. The checkbox can be in case the file does not exist in the database.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Source: Location of the document when it was attempted to be absorbed. In the case of Open Bee\u2122 Portal, the name of the folder, preceded by <em>&#8220;Open Bee\u2122 Portal&#8221;<\/em> is indicated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>File Name: The name of the file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Error: Description of the error that caused the file to abort. Here are some common mistakes:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>File does not exist in the database:<\/strong> The document is not present in the Open Bee\u2122 Scan Capture database but is present in an error document folder managed by Open Bee\u2122 Scan Capture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>File extension is not supported:<\/strong> The document is not in the file format expected by Open Bee\u2122 Scan Capture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>OCR error on the file:<\/strong> the document could not be transposed to text. The document is potentially blank or unreadable<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>File Interpretation Error:<\/strong> The document cannot be interpreted. It is potentially password protected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Documentsenerreur-Actions\">Actions<\/h1>\n\n<p>When documents arrive in this list, the actions that can be taken are limited:  <img decoding=\"async\" width=\"100\" src=\"https:\/\/confluence.myopenbee.com\/download\/thumbnails\/178913321\/file_in_error_ecran_action.jpg?version=1&amp;modificationDate=1533279747000&amp;api=v2\"\/><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Restart Interpretation:<\/strong> This action restarts processing the selected file. It is very useful for restarting documents that have been directly placed in the &#8220;in error&#8221; folder without being interpreted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Save:<\/strong> This action allows you to retrieve the document from your computer to process it in a different way than with Open Bee\u2122 Scan Capture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Delete:<\/strong> This action cleans up the selected documents from the list.
