{"id":21022,"date":"2022-04-11T13:55:46","date_gmt":"2022-04-11T11:55:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/help.openbee.com\/open-bee-scan-capture\/administrators-guide\/accounting\/setting-up-the-accounting-import\/xml-accounting-import\/"},"modified":"2026-05-13T09:36:00","modified_gmt":"2026-05-13T07:36:00","slug":"xml-accounting-import","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/help.openbee.com\/en\/open-bee-scan-capture\/administrators-guide\/accounting\/setting-up-the-accounting-import\/xml-accounting-import\/","title":{"rendered":"XML Accounting Import"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ImportcomptableXML-Source\">Spring<\/h1>\n\n<p>The import is for a particular folder to be chosen from the list of Open Bee\u2122 Scan Capture.<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Choose the file you want to import<\/li><li>The option to delete the chart of accounts allows you to purge items that are no longer present in the chart of accounts<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<p>The configuration of the XML import is done in the &#8220;<strong>Configuration<\/strong>&#8221; tab located on the right of the page.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.openbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/278200614.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ImportcomptableXML-Configurationdescomptes\">Setting up accounts<\/h1>\n\n<p>Each type of account has its own section that allows you to identify them:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Root<\/strong> : This is the tag that encompasses the account information.<\/li><li><strong>G\/L Account<\/strong> : The tag or attribute containing the account number<\/li><li><strong>Third-party account<\/strong> : <em>(Accounts receivable\/payables only)<\/em> the tag or attribute containing the number of the third-party account<\/li><li><strong>Account Label<\/strong> : The tag or attribute that contains the account label<\/li><li><strong>VAT Rate<\/strong> : <em>(VAT account only) <\/em> the decimal value associated with VAT accounts (optional).<\/li><li><strong>Accounts starting with<\/strong> : The filter that allows you to import only accounts that start with these characters.
