Type &#8220;Purchase Invoice&#8221; can contain the templates &#8220;Overhead Invoice&#8221; and &#8220;Operating Invoice&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p>The indexes to be searched on a document are set to the types of that document, the templates are used to handle exceptions related to certain types<\/p>\n\n<p>Example:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Index to disabled completely for a &#8220;Overhead Invoice&#8221;  <\/li><li>Disables ledger entries for a particular model<\/li><li>Define how customizations are defined per template<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Mod&#xE8;lesdedocument-Fonctionnement\">Operation<\/h2>\n\n<p>To determine which model to use when interpreting a document, Open Bee\u2122 Scan Capture <strong>relies on the keywords<\/strong> that have been defined for it, so they play a key role in recognizing your pattern.<\/p>\n\n<p>For more details on keywords, we invite you to consult this page (see <a href=\"https:\/\/help.openbee.com\/en\/open-bee-scan-capture\/knowledge-base\/how-to-guides\/use-of-keywords\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"10799\">Explanation\/Use of keywords<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>This page is strongly linked to the <a href=\"https:\/\/help.openbee.com\/en\/open-bee-scan-capture\/user-guide\/videocode-a-document\/explaining-using-templates\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"8303\">Explaining\/Using Templates<\/a> page.<\/p><p><em>For more information on document templates, please visit this page.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Mod&#xE8;lesdedocument-Disponibilit&#xE9;\">Availability<\/h2>\n\n<p>This is because the templates are available on two parts of the app:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Videocoding as explained in the page linked above  <\/li><li>the current page named &#8220;Templates&#8221;.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<p>  In both cases, the interfaces are identical and the use is the same. The difference is that when <strong>videocoding<\/strong> , your template will be Edited\/Created at the selected folder level, while for the <strong>template management<\/strong> page, you will have the choice of the level where to create\/Edit it.<\/p>\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Mod&#xE8;lesdedocument-Sp&#xE9;cificit&#xE9;delapage&quot;Mod&#xE8;les&quot;\">Specificity of the &#8220;Templates&#8221; page<\/h1>\n\n<p>In template management, you can choose at which level to create\/edit your template via the &#8220;Folder&#8221; list<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/confluence.myopenbee.com\/download\/attachments\/178913321\/ModeleDoc.jpg?version=1&amp;modificationDate=1533202670000&amp;api=v2\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>There are several choices available to you:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>All folders: Your modification or creation will impact all folders contained in the application<\/li><li>A particular folder: Creating or modifying a template will only impact the selected folder.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<p>Once you have chosen your folder, you must select the type of document for which you want to add a template via the &#8220;Document Type&#8221; list<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/confluence.myopenbee.com\/download\/attachments\/178913321\/ModeleDoc1.jpg?version=1&amp;modificationDate=1533202671000&amp;api=v2\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p><em><u>Attention<\/u>: In order for a document type to be visible in this list, it must be active for the selected folder.
