{"id":21543,"date":"2022-04-11T14:00:18","date_gmt":"2022-04-11T12:00:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/help.openbee.com\/open-bee-multi-sites\/administrators-guide\/license\/"},"modified":"2024-05-20T14:43:31","modified_gmt":"2024-05-20T12:43:31","slug":"license","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/help.openbee.com\/en\/open-bee-multi-sites\/administrators-guide\/license\/","title":{"rendered":"License"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"main-content\" class=\"wiki-content group\">\n<p>Before you can use the Open Bee\u2122 Multi Sites module, a configuration phase is necessary.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><u><strong>Floor 1:<\/strong><\/u><br \/>\nFirst, the Open Bee\u2122 Portal instance that wants to share data with users from another instance will need to create a <a href=\"https:\/\/help.openbee.com\/en\/open-bee-multi-sites\/administrators-guide\/creating-connection-sharing\/\">connection share<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><u><strong>Step 2:<\/strong><\/u><br \/>\nThen, the instance with which the share was created will have to <a href=\"https:\/\/help.openbee.com\/en\/open-bee-multi-sites\/administrators-guide\/connection-sharing-validation\/\">validate this request<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As far as licensing is concerned, it should be noted that the Open Bee\u2122 Multi Sites module does not require a special license to create a tethering (step 1).<\/p>\n<p>However, to validate the connection (step 2), a specific license is required.<\/p>\n<p>If the license includes the Open Bee\u2122 Multi Sites module, the two tabs &#8220;Share a folder&#8221; and &#8220;Share requests&#8221; will be visible in the module&#8217;s administration.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"confluence-embedded-image\" src=\"https:\/\/help.openbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/282198060.png\" width=\"400\" data-image-src=\"https:\/\/help.openbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/282198060.png\"><\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, if the license does not include this option, only the &#8220;Share a folder&#8221; tab will be visible.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"confluence-embedded-image\" src=\"https:\/\/help.openbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/282198061.png\" width=\"400\" data-image-src=\"https:\/\/help.openbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/282198061.png\"><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Before you can use the Open Bee\u2122 Multi Sites module, a configuration phase is necessary.
