Using your Open Bee\u2122 Sync sync tool requires you to be logged into your online Open Bee\u2122DMS.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Connecting to Open Bee\u2122 Sync<\/h2>\n

To connect to <\/span>Open Bee\u2122 Sync go to the “User account” tab.<\/span><\/p>\n

Depending on the DMS you want to connect to, click on the buttons at the top right, “Portal” or “Sphere”.<\/span><\/p>\n

To log in to Open Bee\u2122 Portal , you must enter the address, username and password.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the other hand,<\/span> logging in to Sphere first requires entering the account ID, then clicking on “Login” before selecting the URL and entering the password.<\/p>\n

Once the fields have been completed, click on “Save<\/strong>” at<\/span>

A confirmation window will appear to inform you that your information is correct and that you are logged in.<\/p>\n

Click “OK<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

If your password or username is incorrect, the following window will appear:<\/p>\n

If you do not yet have an Open Bee\u2122 Portal username and password, contact your administrator so that a user account can be created for you.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Proxy settings
<\/strong><\/h2>\n

If your local network has a proxy server, you can configure it from the “User account” tab.<\/span>
<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The interface offers you two modes for configuring your proxy server:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Automatic configuration<\/strong> mode<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Manual configuration<\/strong> mode<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Automatic configuration of the proxy server<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    To automatically detect your proxy server settings, choose the “
    \n Automatically detect settings<\/strong>
    \n<\/span>” option.<\/p>\n

    ASTUTENESS<\/strong><\/p>This option is only available if you have checked the “Set up a proxy server<\/strong>” box.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n

    The automatic detection of the proxy is based on the proxy configuration in Internet Explorer or in the system configuration (Control Panel -> Internet Options -> Connections -> Network Settings).<\/p>

    If you choose automatic configuration<\/strong>, Open Bee\u2122 Sync<\/strong> will detect the Internet Explorer and\/or system configuration.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n

    Manual Proxy Server Configuration<\/h3>\n\n

    To manually configure your proxy server settings, choose the “Manually configure proxy settings<\/strong>” option.<\/p>\n\n

    ASTUTENESS<\/strong><\/p>As with automatic connection, this option is only available if you have checked the “Set up a proxy server<\/strong>” box.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n

    <\/p>\n\n

    • Then enter your URL or IP address as well as the port used by your connection<\/li>
    • Use “proxy authentication” if your proxy is configured with a user and password<\/li>
