Using your Open Bee\u2122 eMail Capture sync tool may require you to be logged in to your Open Bee\u2122 Portal .<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n

Open Bee\u2122 Portal connection settings<\/h2>\n\n

To connect to Open Bee\u2122 Portal , click on the “Configuration” menu and then on the “EDM connection” tab<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Then fill in all the fields as in the example below:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

  • Enter your URL or the IP address of your Open Bee\u2122 Portal online<\/li>
  • Enter your port and check the “SSL<\/strong>” option if you want to get a secure connection<\/li>
  • Enter your Open Bee\u2122 Portal username and password<\/li><\/ul>\n\n

    Automatic configuration of the Proxy server<\/h2>\n\n

    If your local network has a proxy server, you must configure it to connect to your DMS.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

    To automatically detect your proxy server settings, choose the “Automatically detect settings” option.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

    Astuteness<\/strong><\/p>This option is only available if you have checked the “Set up a proxy server” box.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n

    <\/p>\n\n

    The automatic detection of the proxy is based on the proxy configuration in Internet Explorer or in the system configuration (Control Panel -> Internet Options -> Connections -> Network Settings).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n

    If you choose automatic configuration<\/strong>, Open Bee\u2122 eMail Capture<\/strong> will detect Internet Explorer and\/or system configuration.<\/p>\n\n

    Manual Proxy Server Configuration<\/h1>\n\n

    To manually configure your proxy server settings, choose the “Manually configure proxy settings<\/strong>” option.<\/p>\n\n

    ASTUTENESS<\/strong><\/p>As with automatic connection, this option is only available if you have checked the “Set up a proxy server<\/strong>” box.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n

    <\/p>\n\n

    • Then enter your URL or IP address as well as the port used by your connection<\/li>
    • Use “proxy authentication” if your proxy is configured with a user and password<\/li>
    • Then fill in the login and passwords required for the proxy connection<\/li><\/ul>\n\n

      Saving the settings<\/h1>\n\n

      Once the fields have been completed, click on “Save” at the bottom right to log in.A confirmation window will appear to inform you that your information is correct and that you are logged in.<\/p>\n\n

      Click “OK<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n\n

      • Connection parameters can only be saved if they are correct and a connection to Open Bee\u2122 Portal has been established.<\/strong><\/li>
      • The Open Open Bee\u2122 Portal connection configuration is unique for the entire application<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n
