Database migration (optional)<\/span><\/h1>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Open Bee\u2122 Data Importer uses an internal MySQL database.<\/p>\n

The following is how to migrate this database from one workstation to another:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Back up the database\n
      \n
    • “PATH_MYSQL\\bin\\mysqldump” -u root dataimporter > dataimporter_backup.sql<\/li>\n
    • Example withMySQL Port = 3307, <\/strong>password = pass<\/strong>, MySQL folder path = C:\\Program Files (x86)\\OpenBee\\Open Bee Data Importer\\mysql\\bin\n
        \n
      • “C:\\Program Files (x86)\\OpenBee\\Open Bee Data Importe\\rmysql\\bin\\mysqldump” -P 3307<\/strong> -u root -ppass<\/strong> dataimporter > “C:\\dataimporter_backup.sql”<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • If necessary, install MySQL on the destination workstation<\/li>\n
      • If it does not exist, create a blank database “dataimporter”\n
          \n
        • “PATH_MYSQL\\bin\\mysqladmin” -u root -p[password] create “dataimporter”<\/li>\n
        • Example “C:\\Program Files (x86)\\mysql\\bin\\mysqladmin” -u root -ppass create “dataimporter”<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • Re-import the database\n

          • “PATH_MYSQL\\bin\\mysql” -u root -p[password] dataimporter > dataimporter_backup.sql<\/li>\n
          • Example “C:\\Program Files (x86)\\mysql\\bin\\mysql” -u root -ppass dataimporter < C:\\dataimporter_backup.sql<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Application migration<\/h1>\n
              \n
            1. Install Open Bee\u2122 Data Importer on the new workstation<\/li>\n
            2. Copy from the workstation to be migrated to the destination workstation, the following folders:\n
                \n
              • C:\\Program Files (x86)\\OpenBee\\Open Bee Data Importer\\Configuration<\/li>\n
              • C:\\Program Files (x86)\\OpenBee\\Open Bee Data Importer\\ImportsData<\/li>\n
              • C:\\Program Files (x86)\\OpenBee\\Open Bee Data Importer\\Temp<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
              • Run Open Bee\u2122 Data Importer<\/li>\n
              • Configure the database connection, if it has been moved (Configuration => Settings => Database)<\/li>\n
