{"id":21944,"date":"2022-03-02T14:16:05","date_gmt":"2022-03-02T13:16:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/help.openbee.com\/open-bee-gateway\/administrators-guide\/open-bee-scan-capture-sage-objects-metiers\/"},"modified":"2026-05-13T09:38:07","modified_gmt":"2026-05-13T07:38:07","slug":"open-bee-scan-capture-sage-objects-metiers","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/help.openbee.com\/en\/open-bee-gateway\/administrators-guide\/open-bee-scan-capture-sage-objects-metiers\/","title":{"rendered":"Open Bee\u2122 Scan Capture &#8211; Sage Objects M\u00e9tiers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Supported Sage OM versions<\/strong><\/p>\n<cite>The supported versions of Sage Business Objects are listed on <a href=\"https:\/\/help.openbee.com\/en\/open-bee-gateway\/installers-guide\/hardware-and-software-requirements\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"2085\">this page<\/a>.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n<p>To use the accounting import or the export of accounting entries via Sage business objects, a special configuration must be carried out.<\/p>\n\n<p>For information, the processing managed by Open Bee\u2122 Gateway is executed by a Windows service.<\/p>\n\n<p>When using business objects, you need to make sure that the account running the Windows service has the necessary rights.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-vivid-red-background-color has-text-color has-background\"><strong>This account must be entered in the &#8220;Windows Service Configuration&#8221; section of the &#8220;Preferences&#8221; tab (or directly at the Windows service level in case of an error).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The account set up to run the Windows service must meet the following prerequisites:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>They must have connection rights as a service and be an administrator of the machine where Open Bee\u2122 Gateway is installed<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>It must have rights to the Sage SQL Server database<\/strong><br\/>If the user does not have the rights, this error will appear in Open Bee\u2122 Gateway<br\/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.openbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/281542666.png\" width=\"550\"\/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Here is the procedure for granting rights to the Sage database:<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First, retrieve the Sage database connection information in the Open Bee\u2122 Scan Capture configuration or in the .mae file<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.openbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/281542663.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>2. Log in as an administrator to the Sage database server<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.openbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/281542664.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>3. If it does not exist, add the Windows user configured to run the service in SQL Server by right-clicking on Security\/Login and then New Login&#8230;<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.openbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/281542668.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>4. Select the Windows user by clicking on Search<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.openbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/281542669.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>5. And finally, in the User Mapping tab, select the Sage database and validate by clicking OK<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.openbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/281542670.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"OpenBeeScanCapture-SageObjetsM&#xE9;tiers-Executiond'unecommandeviaobjetsm&#xE9;tiers\">Execution of an order via business objects<\/h3>\n\n<p>The configuration is almost finalized to execute an import or export via Sage business objects.<\/p>\n\n<p>Before executing an order, you must:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enter the Sage username and password. This is not the Windows account but the Sage credentials that are entered when the Sage Accounting program is opened. Administrator login is default <administrateur> (steps 1 and 2)<\/administrateur><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Save the configuration (step 3). \/! Be careful, each time you change the configuration (Server, database, username or password) you must be sure to click on the save button before executing a command.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And finally execute a command by clicking on the &#8220;Retry&#8221; button, for example<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.openbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/282460307.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Supported Sage OM versions The supported versions of Sage Business Objects are listed on this page.
