Open Bee eForm 7.1 Release Note

Improvements

v7.1.8

Creating a form from an existing form

  • In the last step of the Public Forms Wizard, a button “Import an existing form” has been added. It allows you to add a classic or public form previously created and exported in JSON format.

v7.1.4

New Form Library

  • A new library consisting of 7 forms is now pre-embedded in the new form module installations.

v7.1.0

Public Form

  • Changed the behavior of the file field (it is no longer possible to search for a document in the DMS)
  • Form duplication functionality
  • Changed the behavior of the “Signature” field (cursive signature is no longer possible because the user is not logged in)

Bug fixes

v7.1.10

Forms Administration

  • A malfunction allowed several successive imports of the same form to be launched when the validation button was clicked. The lack of a processing indicator and the persistence of the active button could lead to duplicate and inconsistent data during import.

Completing a form

  • A malfunction prevented the triggering of SQL queries when entering metadata for users and groups. In some cases, dependent fields were not automatically populated, even when a default value was already selected.

Security

  • Code compliance with PHP 8

Activation/Deactivation

  • A malfunction could block the deactivation of the addon and cause cache corruption. In this case, an exception could be raised and interrupt the deactivation process.

v7.1.8

Responding to a form

  • A malfunction prevented the escalation of file-type metadata values during the validation of certain tasks. In this case, the already populated files were considered missing, which incorrectly triggered a validation error on required fields.

v7.1.7

Responding to a form

  • An issue prevented the correct display of sublists in forms: selections were not visible in the ‘Response’ tab and the sublist could appear empty during modification. This behavior is now fixed.

v7.1.5

Administration

  • Duplication of a form (public or classic) containing annotation-type metadata was not possible.

Calculated Fields

  • The calculation does not trigger when the calculation formula contains a Constant value.

v7.1.4

Completing a form

  • Problem with displaying the value contained in a sublist when the form contained 3 levels of lists. This display problem has appeared since version 7.0 of Open Bee™ Portal.
  • The US and EN date formats were not properly handled with the Date and Time metadata.
  • Group user fields are not properly copied when pre-populating from another document or form.

Editing a Form

  • By default, a form was editable only by the Administrator group. The form creator is now automatically added to users who have permission to edit the form if they are not an Administrator.
  • It is no longer necessary to have the “Classification Rule” permission in order to create a form. Only the permissions related to the forms are required.
  • Fields entered with multiple values were incorrectly displayed in the digital view of the Form. Instead, they were properly saved and displayed in the generated document.

v7.1.2

Editing a Form

  • Special characters were not displayed correctly in the field titles of a form.

Completing a form

  • If a calculation rule was put in a table, when a row is deleted from the table, the calculation is not refreshed.

Running a workflow task

  • An error occurred while validating a task that required a metadata value to be entered into an array.
  • When validating a form task, document paths are now displayed even if the user does not have completion rights.

Public Form

  • The administrator’s name is no longer displayed in the navigation tab.
