Open Bee™ Scan OCS (O.C.R. Conversion Service) is a service for extracting textual elements from documents. This service is a component of the electronic document management application Open Bee™ Portal.
Open Bee™ Scan OCS performs different types of operations:
- extracting text from documents to enable full-text searching,
- Transforming a document into a PDF file or image thumbnails to allow preview,
- document signing.
The user does not have the possibility to work directly with the Open Bee™ Scan OCS tool which is a software component of Open Bee™ Portal.
However, an administration interface that displays the status of operations and allows you to perform administrative tasks is available in Open Bee™ Portal.
⚠️ Language limitation: It is not possible to perform multilingual recognition on the same document with Open Bee OCS. If a document contains multiple languages, the OCR result may be incomplete or incorrect.
