Installing Open Bee™ eMail Capture

The Open Bee™ eMail Capture installer will guide you – screen by screen – through the steps of installing the software.

Before you install Open Bee™ eMail Capture :

  • Log in as an administrator on your workstation
Description
  1. Double-click the executable to start the installation. Running the Setup requires you to be a system administrator.
2. The welcome page appears. Click “

3. Read the user license and click on “Next”
4. Select the desired installation mode.

Per user:

  • Each user of the workstation will have their own configuration
  • The processing of emails will be done by an application launched in the background
  • Email processing will not be active when the user’s session is closed

This mode is recommended for installation on a TSE server

By machine:

  • The configuration will be shared by all users of the machine
  • The processing of emails will be done by a Windows service
  • Email processing will be active as long as the machine is started
5. Select the location where you want to install the software.

Click “Next”.
6. A confirmation page will be displayed. Click “Next” to

7. The installation is complete. Click on “
Close

8. A shortcut appears on the desktop and in your “Start” menu

(if you have Windows 7 and below) or

in your Home menu if you’re running Windows 8 or higher.

9. Double-click this shortcut to start the software.
