The system requirements for the application to work depend on many factors, including the size of the documents being scanned.
The speed of Open Bee™ Scan Capture depends on the power of the workstation on which the software is installed, the memory it has, the quality of the network signal and the occupancy of the server.
The configuration described here will therefore have to evolve according to the needs of each use; This is the minimum system requirements required for Open Bee™ Scan Capture to work.

A dedicated machine for Open Bee™ Scan Capture operation is required.
We only support 64-bit operating systems.
When Open Bee™ Scan Capture is installed, it configures MongoDB as a service specific to Open Bee™ Scan Capture and creates a new secure database. This instance of MongoDB will not be able to be used by other applications.
As part of an Open Bee™ Scan Capture update, there is no need to reinstall MongoDB and Java 17
Open Bee™ Scan Capture works with Open Bee™ Portal electronic document management servers version 6.11.4 or higher.
