Introduction
An Open Bee™ Portal backup can be set up simply by backing up certain folders using appropriate software.
The paths shown below are:
- either absolute,
- or relative to the Open Bee™ Portal installation directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenBee\OpenBeePortal5 by default for Windows)
Backup strategy
We recommend that you set up an incremental backup with Minimum:
- 15 days of daily retention
- 3-month monthly retention
- Annual retention
Simple list of folders to back up
A backup of the following folders allows you to back up all the data:
- openbeeportal/data/
- openbeeportal/config/
- openbeeportal/web/
- mysqldata on Windows
On Windows, a database dump is performed every night. Remember to check that it is functional. Folder: openbeeportal/data/dump/
The integrity of the database DUMP is not guaranteed.

Database

Documents
These folders contain the documents and their thumbnails:
- Documents: openbeeportal/data/Documents/
- PDF preview of the documents: openbeeportal/data/pdfConversion/
- Thumbnail of images and user images: openbeeportal/data/images/
Configuration
The database as shown below:
- Configuration files: openbeeportal/config/
- Imported stamps: openbeeportal/data/stamps/
Customization
- Background image and other logos: openbeeportal/web/images/
- Color customization: openbeeportal/web/dist/css/
