The Open Bee™ Portal search engine has been designed to allow an almost instantaneous search of the content of documents. It offers results in the order of a second on databases of more than one million documents.
If the search is slow, check the following:
- Make sure you’re using version 5.6 or higher of Open Bee™ Portal
- The option “search only documents by whole words” must be enabled from the “Administration > General Configuration” menu. This option should definitely be enabled for good search performance, if you are handling very large amounts of documents.
- Check that the server on which Open Bee™ Portal is installed meets our requirements.
