What happens when the maximum storage capacity available in the license is reached?
All the features of Open Bee™ Portal remain available, except for the addition of documents and versions that are blocked.
How am I informed that the maximum storage capacity is about to be reached?
This information is available in the “License Administration> ” screen.
In version 6, an additional message is displayed on the Dashboard when the storage used has reached 90% of the available space in the license.
If you have purchased a 50-user license with 2GB per user, 50×2=100GB are available in total in your document space. It is this total storage capacity that is limited. It is therefore shared by the 50 users.
How is the storage space used calculated?
The storage space you use is the sum of thefollowing:
- Size of all versions of all documents
- Size of thumbnails created to view Office images or documents
- Database size (mainly the text content of the documents used for the search)
